Don’t assume that florals are so feminine. This spring and summer, petal prints are dominating menswear and are available in a wide variety of masculine looks and styles. From button downs to summer shorts, to fun tropical patterns to subtler prints, fresh men’s florals are popping up everywhere and boy, do they look sharp. Here are the top trending floral styles to rock this season, fellas.

Tropical Threads

The classic Hawaiian shirt is back in style – except now, a bit more tailored and modern (no big, boxy tent sleeves!). Choose from hot and neon colors, or cooler, more muted shades. If a lot of bright tropical flowers aren’t your thing, look for a tee or tank in tropical prints that include more exotic greenery (like palms and ferns). Or, opt for a pair tropical print shorts. Black Blooms

If lots of vivid colors or pastels aren’t your style, choosing a floral print that hovers over a dark or black background looks a bit more muted and masculine. Try a black button down, t-shirt, or pullover sprinkled with small clusters of flowers – or if you are feeling more daring, choose a pattern that has bigger, bolder florals – and you’ll look hip and trendy without looking too bright.

For a pop of floral fun, choose a pair of flowery kicks. This way, you can still rock the trend without it taking over your entire outfit (we get it – sometimes you just aren’t really in the mood to wear shirt covered in a lush garden of pink peonies). Canvas sneakers or slip-ons are especially ideal for summertime – from tropical print to more neutral blooms, when it comes to shoes just pick your favorite petals.
